Special Projects

Preservation Pennsylvania’s mission is to help people save the places they love. Places that are historically, architecturally, or culturally special and help tell the shared story of who we are and where we’ve come from. We offer a guide to how to do preservation work at the local level. We work with Pennsylvania At Risk places to try to achieve a positive outcome. Sometimes we act as advisors and fiscal agents for advocacy groups that are trying to achieve big things with limited means. Learn more about Project Penny Heaven, the Carlisle Indian School Farmhouse Coalition (#PAatRisk 2018) and the Friends of Abolition Hall (#PAatRisk 2017).

We have other programs in the works that we hope will provide helpful resources to local preservation efforts,
